Naturalness and edu-taintment in a multisensory place dedicated to the training and culture of well and responsible drinking.
The concept “The Perfect Path” is declined in multiple interpretations, through multisensory installations and historical reconstructions, which bring the visitor into a unique atmosphere, poised between contemporaneity and history: a strong connection with the Rossi d’Asiago distillery, since 1868 constantly intertwining tradition with innovation. A tradition that was born, in fact, more than 150 years ago in Asiago, when the pharmacist Giovan Battista Rossi began experimenting with new elixirs using herbs, infusions and stills.
THE MULTISENSORY ROOM AND THE “PERFECT PATH”
The engaging multisensory setting brings the visitor into a unique atmosphere. Conceived by the artist Moreno Panozzo with the special collaboration of the best professionals, the “Perfect Path” is an imaginary itinerary through images and sounds of nature. An unmissable immersive experience in the heart of Asiago.
THE OLD “PHARMACY”
A patient and meticulous reconstruction of the founder’s pharmacy where, more than 150 years ago, the apothecary Giovan Battista Rossi began to experiment with new elixirs using herbs, infusions and stills, giving birth to the distillery that, since 1868, still continues to renew its own products and its know-how.
THE TRAINING AREA, WHERE THE REAL AKADEMY COMES TO LIFE
This space dedicated to knowledge and experimentation hosts tastings, master classes and lessons held by the best professionals in the drink sector, providing participants with new valuable tools for their professional growth, in a unique experience of its kind.
The design project originates from the creative mind of the artist Moreno Panozzo. Always committed to the issues of environmental protection and sustainability, he translates the concept into perfect stylistic choices that characterize this unique sensory journey into the AkademyLab. The artist, who has always been sensitive to the theme of environmental recovery, combine his love for the territory and his internationally appreciated artistic flair. Every little detail of the artist has a precise message here, starting with the choice of materials: the wood used for the set-up and furnishings of the AkademyLab comes from the recovery of the trees overwhelmed by the Vaia storm in 2018.
THE ARTIST: Moreno Panozzo
Born in Asiago in 1963, his job has then brought him in the most significant cities and capitals around the world. After design studies, he gets into architecture, set design, fashion and literature. His strong personality draws his artistic path by expressing important conceptual contents. His entire background is documented and archived in art history books, monographs, museum collections, magazines and volumes published in multiple languages and in different countries. Study, research and experimentation lead him to an abstract-conceptual expression that wants to measure itself with the territory, with architectural and urban space. Using very particular techniques and experimenting with recycled materials, he gave life to the “bioart”. He is currently the director of international artistic & cultural projects on issues concerning the safeguarding and sustainability of the planet. Many of these initiatives are recognized, shared and sponsored by the world’s leading institutions, such as the European Parliament and UNESCO. For more information go to website.
